Fashion Through The Eras

This series explores the evolution of fashion throughout history. I aim to bring attention the development of fashion over time, showing the importance of garments transitioning in length and style. Within the older eras, I am styling to showcase lots of layers and concealing parts of the body. It wasn’t acceptable to expose necklines, ankles, and the waist in the medieval period. As the series progresses, I transition the clothing to become more revealing and lose fitting. I take inspiration from iconic fashion designers who created these trends throughout each era. I hold a lot of love for the creation of this work and I aim to illustrate how important fashion is in our society today.
